- The subject requirement is for the acquisition of one (1) NSN. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with 4 option years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Solicitation will be unrestricted with other than full and open competition. The solicitation will be available on October 21, 2011 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/ THE SUBJECT REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN REOPENED AND EXTENDED THROUGH 12/30/11. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination is required. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be Destination. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. It is the responsibility of the offeror to obtain the additional data that is necessary to manufacture the item and provide this evidence to the Government. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The Government is using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
