- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) intends to issue a sole source requirements contract with one (1) base year plus four (4) option years to Transaero, Inc, for the acquisition of the following parts with estimated quantities per year of 160 each per part: Plug, P/N 80345-2; Tube Assembly, Metal, P/N 81016-1; Tube Assembly, Metal, P/N 81017-5; Tube Assembly, Metal, P/N 81017-8; Tube Assembly, Metal, P/N 81017-9; Tube Assembly, Metal, P/N 81017-10; Tube Assembly, Metal, P/N 81018-4; Tube Assembly, Metal, P/N 81019-9; Tube Assembly, Metal, P/N 81020; Panel, Terminal Board, P/N 81042; Bracket, Panel, P/N 81044. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis, solicitation number W911N2-12-R-0021, with Transaero, Inc., 35 Melville Park Road, Suite 100, Melville, NY 11747-3268. The solicitation will be released O/A 1 December 2011 and close O/A 16 December 2011. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. This synopsis shall not bind the Government and is for information purposes only.
