- Description
- This requirement is for the design, fabrication, installation, testing for a Mechanical Rubber Denuding Machine Cell. The cell shall include a primary machine used to remove rubber from various size tank roadwheels, and a secondary machine to remove remaining rubber and adhesive. A complete turnkey machine cell is required that conceptually consists of; primary and alternate denuding machines, human machine interface, robot material handler, conveyor and pallet station, machine cell safety barrier, scrap rubber collection system, fume, smoke, particulate abatement system, and peripheral equipment. Solicitation will utilize two-step sealed bidding. Initial technical proposals will not evaluate pricing; offers that are technically acceptable will be invited to provide pricing information during the second step. Delivery schedule is undetermined. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements.
