- The Government contracted support for two receiver telescopes for use on theAdvanced Topographic Laser Altimeter System (ATLAS) instrument that will fly onboard theICESAT-2 spacecraft.This contract is a competitive action, in accordance to FAR Part 12 'Acquisition ofCommercial Items'. Speedring, LLC has demonstrated its capabilities to the Statement ofWork. Any delays in enacting this procurement will have a critical impact to theICESAT-2 mission schedule. Due to the required work within the Statement of Work, the Government found its best toaward a Fixed Price contract type.
