- NAICS Code: 811219 SUBJECT: INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT DESCRIPTION: The point of contact for this action is Pat Martin, Contract Specialist, email patricia.d.martin20.civ@mail.mil. The Research and Development-Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division (AICD), Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely as prescribed in (FAR 6.302-1) with Perkin Elmer, 710 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton, CT 08484. The contractor is a large business and is the only company that can provide the preventative maintenance and repair of one Automatic Thermal Desorption, one Pyristiga Thermal Gravimetric Analyzer, one Tmassgoldeici and one Clarus 500 Gas Chromatograph. Preventative maintenance shall include parts, travel, labor and phone support. North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) for this requirement is 811219 and the size standard is $19.0 million. Interested person may identify their interest, in writing to the government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, December 12, 2011. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
