- In accordance with the FAR Part 5, this notice is being posted to advise the general Public of the following: The Bureau of Public Debt, on behalf of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to award an Order to Association of Bank Supervisors of the Americas (ASBA) for ASBA membership on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 6.302-1, ASBA is the only provider of the above membership. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received by December 15, 2011 by 2:00pm ET. Responses shall be submitted to PSB3@bpd.treas.gov, Attention M. Bowden/G. Huffman. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
