Description
The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command-New Jersey ACC-NJ in support of theProject Manager Crew Served Weapons (PM CSW) has a requirement for a sacrificial lens to be mounted on the lens surface of the fielded Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS) Visual Imaging Module (VIM) (PNO: 108642-01). The lens shall not degrade the operational performanceof the CROWS or VIM. It must minimize the intrusion of air, dust or any other particles between the sacrificial lens and the VIM lens. PM CSW alsorequires a rubber cover to be mounted over the mounted sacrificial lens to protect the surface of the sacrificial lens from damage when the CROWS isnot in operation use. PM CSW also has a requirement for a mesh screen to be mounted on the lenssurface of the fielded CROWS Thermal Imaging Module (TIM) (PNO: 84043663-1).The mesh screen shall not degrade the operational performance of the CROWS or TIM. It must minimize the intrusion of objects that may damage or degradethe lens surface. PM CSW also requires a rubber cover to be mounted over themounted mesh screen to protect the VIM lens from damage when the CROWS is not in operation use. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, demonstration video and othertechnical data as well as identification of current customers and associatedpricing information.
