- This is a synopsis of a requirement for an Integrated Solid Waste Management Contract utilizing a small business set-aside, for Buckley AFB, CO. Solicitation FA2543-12-R-0001, will be issued on or about 5 Dec 2011. A Site Visit is planned for 19 Dec 2011 at 9:00 a.m. MST. Prior to attending the Site Visit, interested parties are required to request via email an Entry Authorization Entry Form for access onto Buckley AFB, CO. On the day of the Site Visit, all those planning to attend will meet at the 6th Avenue Gate Visitors Center at Buckley AFB, CO 80011 at 8:30 a.m. MST. The site visit is not mandatory. The contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to provide Integrated Solid Waste Management IAW the PWS at Buckley AFB. The contractor shall empty municipal solid waste (MSW)/ recycling containers/dumpsters. For recycling containers, the contractor shall be responsible for separating the various types of recyclable materials. The proposed contract will be a commercial, firm-fixed price contract with Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) 0001 through 0015 base period; 1001 through 1015 for option period 1; 2001 through 2015 for option period 2; 3001 through 3015 for option period 3; 4001 through 4015 for option period 4; and 5001 through 5015 for extension of services. The magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $1,500,000.00 for the base and all option periods. The solicitation information will be posted on FedBizOpps at http://www.fbo.gov. This solicitation and any amendments will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102; therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. As a result of the posting, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. This solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111, Solid Waste Collection and has a size standard of $12.5 million.
