Description
conducting a market survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small businesses, including 8(a) small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, woman-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or HUBZone small businesses capable of providing an authorized one year service agreement on one manufactured Applied Biosystems 5500xL sequencer. Interested firms with the capability of providing, at a minimum fifty-one percent (51%), of the required service, shall submit a capability statement to assist the Government in determining in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.502-2(b)whether or not this procurement will be set-aside for any of the programs described above. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code 811219 with a size standard of $19.0M. All respondents are requested to identify their firms size and type of business. Interested firms responding to this market survey must provide a capability statement demonstrating their experience, skills and capability to fulfill the Governments requirements for the above. The capability statement shall be in sufficient enough detail addressing how each service or situation, etc will be performed and or addressed. Capability statement should not to exceed ten (10) pages, so that the Government can determine the experience and capability of your firm to provide the requirements above. Two (2) copies of the capability statement must be received at the contracting office address: 6100 Executive Blvd, Room 5Z00, Rockville, MD 20852 - ATTN: Tina Robinson, or via email to robinsti@mail.nih.gov prior to 10:00 a.m. eastern standard time on December 6, 2011. Fax submission of capability statements will not be accepted. Capability statement must reference solicitation# NICHD2012126. Any questions must be sent via email to robinsti@mail.nih.gov and must include solicitation# NICHD2012126 in the subject line of email. Capability statements, etc will not be returned to firm/sender.
