- Machine Tree Planting on the Huron Shores and Mio Ranger Districts of the Huron Manistee National Forests for Fiscal Years 2012 and 2013. Project sites are located in Oscoda, Crawford and Iosco Counties of Michigan. There are approximately 126 acres in Iosco County to be planted in FY 2012 with 137M jack pine seedlings and approximately 71 acres in Oscoda County to be planted in FY 2012 with 77M jack pine seedlings. For Fiscal Year 2013 there are approximately 281 acres in Crawford County, with 306M jack pine seedlings. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated to result from this solicitation. A Pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for 9:00 am, est., on December 15th 2011. See attached for directions to this meeting.
