(Code S1924), 814 Radford Blvd, Ste 20270, Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, Georgia 31704-1128. The Marine Corps Logistics Command Contracts Department (Code S1924) intends to solicit and award a contract with Viking Incorporated of Marrero, LA, on a sole-source basis for the requirement described below. No other product is acceptable due to engine configuration requirements. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient data, or the rights to same data, for the manufacture of this requirement. This requirement was solicited on a full-and-open basis less than sixty days ago with two offers received. The awardee is no longer able to provide the assembly. Any source capable of providing the required assembly may contact the person(s) indicated to be considered for award. No solicitation will be posted on this website for the requirement. (2) Specification / Qualification - Reconditioned Paxman engine crankshaft, used with Paxman 16RP200M marine diesel engines; Part Number 16Y3J17020A (3) Manufacturer “ Viking Incorporated (CAGE 1EN78) (4) Destination - Maintenance Center, Marine Corps Logistics Base, Yermo Ca 92398 (5) Award Procedures - The Government anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract under the simplified acquisition threshold. The estimated award date is 15 December 2011.
