Description

The National Park Service (NPS) has issued a Prospectus soliciting for proposals in response to a business opportunity to operate Vehicle Tours within Crater Lake National Park. The NPS will issue the Prospectus on November 30, 2011, under the terms described in the Prospectus. There is no existing Concession Contract between the NPS, but rather these services were authorized under a Commerical Use Authorization. The Director, pursuant to 36 C.F.R Part 51, has determined that the Existing Commerical Use Authorization operator is NOT a preferred Offeror for the Contract to be awarded. The term of the new Concession Contract will be for ten (10) years. Any proposals must be received by the National Park Service, Pacific West Region, Attn: Commercial Services Office, 333 Bush Street Suite 500, San Francisco, California 94104. Proposals are due no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on February 9, 2012. Prospectus packages will be available by contact Darby Watson, Commercial Services Project Manager, Pacific West Region, at (415) 623-2226, or by email at darby_watson@nps.gov. The Prospectus will also be available after November 30, 2011, on the Commercial Services website at http://concessions.nps.gov/prospectuses.htm. If you choose to retrieve a copy of the Prospectus from the NPS website please notify Darby Watson so you can be placed on the mailing list to receive notificaitons of any future modificiations or other correspondence.
