- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) intends to issue a sole source contract for one year to AM General, LLC, for the acquisition of HMMWV Power Packs (Turbo) (HMMWV/M1151A1), P/N 5717314, quantity 1,678 each. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This contract will be negotiated on a sole source basis, solicitation number W911N2-12-R-0005, with AM General, LLC, 408 S Byrkit St, Mishawaka, IN 46544-3012. The solicitation will be released O/A 2 December 2011 and close O/A 16 December 2011. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. This synopsis shall not bind the Government and is for information purposes only. CBDNet Numbered Note 22 applies (www.gpoaccess.gov/cbdnet/).
