- This is a Design/Bid/Build Project at Fort Campbell, KY consisting of a Adapt-Build (A-B) standard design medium Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility (TEMF) at approximately 35,290 square feet. Supporting facilities include an organizational storage building (OSB), hazardous waste storage building (HWSB), petroleum oil and lubricant storage building (POL), tactical unmanned aerial vehicle storage building (TUAV), organizational vehicle hardstand and privately owned vehicle parking. The A-B standard design provides a complete and functional TEMF Complex. Facility types are for the purpose of maintaining and repairing vehicles, complete with equipment and parts storage and administrative offices. It is intended to be similar to heavy equipment or motor pool facilities in the private sector community. The project shall include associated site development, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, parking, walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, information systems, landscaping and signage. The performance period is 480 calendar days maximum. The estimated price range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. This is a Best Value solicitation and the basis for award is the tradeoff process. Proposals will be evaluated by the government in accordance with the following criteria: Safety, experience of the prime contractor, past performance of the prime contractor and proposed schedule. The estimated issue date is 9 December 2011, with an approximate proposal due date of 18 January 2012. A site visit is scheduled in the Conference Room of Building 849 on Fort Campbell base on 14 December 2011 from 2:00-5:00 Central Time.
