- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to solicit on an unrestricted basis, services for hull maintenance and dry docking services. Complete specifications for this procurement will be contained in the solicitation, which will be released in late November “ early December 2011. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 336611 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. NSWCCD intends to negotiate a competitive procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, and award a firm-fixed-price purchase order. The solicitation will be made available electronically via the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizops.com) and the Navy Electronic Commerce website (www.neco.navy.mil). A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. See www.ccr.gov for further information and instructions. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the solicitation.
