IDIQ Contract with a 3 Year Ordering Period, BEQ is 18 for the total 3year requirement, Minimum Order Quantity is 2 each and Maximum OrderQuantity is 13 each, with a Total Contract Maximum of 27 each. Current qualified source is: Meggitt Rockmart.Cage Code: 56221, Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification:Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limitednumber of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies orservices will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies in which the Governmentintends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number ofsources. Interested persons may identify their interest and capabilityto respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposalsreceived within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis willbe considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government notto compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice issolely within the discretion of the Government. Information receivedwill normally be considered solely for the purpose of determiningwhether to conduct a competitive procurement. Surplus is not acceptable for this item except in urgent situations. Qualification Requirements do not exist. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested insubcontracting opportunities in connection with the describedprocurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Specifications,plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incompleteor not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policiescontained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However,interested persons may identify to the contracting officer theirinterest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with acommercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: The Competition Advocate (CA) at each contracting activity/office(as defined in DLAD 2.101) shall act as the ombudsman and attempt toresolve contractor complaints. DLA Aviation's AOB CA/ombudsman can bereached at (405) 734-8241, facsimile (405) 734-8129. Complaints whichcannot be so resolved shall be forwarded to the HQ through J-72 forresolution by the DLA competition advocate. Each activity isresponsible for developing procedures for executing the duties andresponsibilities of its local ombudsman. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation.
