Description

Synopsis HVAC Project General Services Administration Burlington Federal Building 11 Elmwood Ave Burlington, VT The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for the installation of 3 Split System A/C units, and the relocation of a 4th. The project is to be done in 3 different locations, and for 3 different agencies in the building, and includes the following:  On the 6th floor, install a 1-1/2 ton split system in a data room.  On the roof, build and install a Rack to lift an existing split system condenser off of the roof to eliminate snow issues.  On the 3rd floor, install 2, 1-1/2 ton units in a data room, and once operational, remove a 5 ton unit from space.  Electrical work as needed due to construction.  Ensure all systems are connected and communicate properly with the existing EMS for the building.  Provide all equipment and personnel needed for the moving of all office furniture, materials, and equipment to accommodate the project. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for December 13th, at 10:00 am. This procurement is 100% set aside for Small Business. Estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps on or about 12/08/2011.
