- SSJ FOR GRAPHITE VERTICAL MACHININING CENTER Minimum Specifications/Requirements one each new Graphite Vertical Machnining Center with Winmax CNC controller and external dust collection system GRAPHITE VERTICAL MACHINING CENTER: The solicitation umber is FA8601-12-T-0004. The NAICS Code is 333512. The size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). Request for a solicitation will receive no response. The proposed source is HURCO VM10G (Graphite Machining Center). This acquisition is in direct support of the Air Force Institute of Technology and its directive to graduate students with experience using the latest in science and technology. The salient characteristics of the Vertical Machining Center are attached to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any information received within five (5) days of issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
