- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 Network Contracting Activity, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement in accordance with Far Part 12 and Far Part 13.5 with Glytec, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This procurement is for glucommanders, which are used to monitor blood glucose in critically ill patients. The product will assist with glycemic management. The appropriate NAICS code is 325413 with a size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation number is VA255-12-Q-0124. All other contract details including full specifications will be included in the Request For Quotes, which will be released on or about December 9, 2011. The anticipated close date will be on or about December 19, 2011. Any contractor who wishes to receive a copy of this RFQ may submit a request in writing.
