- Description
- OPDS O&M Synopsis The Offshore Petroleum Discharge System (OPDS) consists of one U.S.-flagged, self-sustaining vessel, tender vessel, and associated equipment. The vessels are designed to deploy, operate, and redeploy a system capable of delivering fuel from a tanker or fuel barge to the high water mark of a designated beach from up to eight miles off-shore. Operation and maintenance services for these vessels are to commence 20 August 2012. The above services will be solicited under Request for Proposal N00033-12-R-3131. The RFP is anticipated to be released on or about 15 December 2011. Please see the attached document for further details.
