- Medical Health Systems/Air Force Medical System Sustainment for Reserve Component 1. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY; THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is to assist Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), Robins Air Force Base, Georgia in determining the potential level of interest, adequacy of competition, and technical capabilities within industry, especially the small business community, to provide support to the Air Force Reserve Command's medical information systems. The contractor shall provide all sustainment efforts to support operation and maintenance of the AFRC Military Health Service (MHS) and Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) systems. This is a follow-on to two existing contracts FA6646307F0028 (medical systems), FA664309F1006 (digital dental systems). A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this notice. Comments from industry are encouraged in your response. The government will consider your inputs in the final PWS requirements. Special Qualifications Desired: Firms with core competencies in functionality, technical architecture and applications related to military medical systems are preferred. Personnel expertise and certifications are addressed in the Personnel Qualifications section of the PWS. Place of Performance: The 78 th Medical Treatment Facility at Robins AFB, GA will provide facilities for up to two (2) personnel on-site. 2. This SSS is solely intended to obtain Market Research information in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and its supplements to assist the government in formulating an acquisition strategy for procurement of these critical services. The NAICS for this procurement is 541512, Computer Systems Design Services. 3. Respondents are requested to provide a narrative addressing (1) technical capabilities to meet the PWS requirements with particular emphasis on Section 3.0, Specific Tasks and (2) potential level of interest in responding to a solicitation. 4. This SSS does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), a commitment to issue an RFP in the future, or award a contract for these services. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay or reimburse costs for any information provided in response to this SSS. 5. Responses to this SSS and survey are to be submitted by email only no later than Wednesday, 7 December 2011 to diane.sharpe@us.af.mil. All responses from prospective offerors should include the return email address, firm name, CAGE code, DUNS number, mailing address, telephone number and point of contact within the body of the response.
