- November 21, 2011 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Texarkana, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQP05151200006 for the requirement of 2nd Quarter Subsistence items. The NAICS code for this requirement is 424410. Offers will be FOB destination with delivery beginning January 1, 2011. The contract type will be firm-fixed price. The Government will award to the responsible offeror (s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Past performance and price will be considered with prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 21, 2011 and will be posted to the General Services Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. The anticipated date for receipt of quote is December 2, 2011 at 5:00PM. Each offeror (s) is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-Line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at www.orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based organizations and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. The anticipated date of award is December 9, 2011.
