- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a delivery order under contract N00019-11-G-0014 Basic Ordering Agreement to ATK Missile Products, Defense Electronics Systems (DES), Woodland Hills, CA for the AARGM Block 1 Upgrade program which consists of missile system software changes, improvements, and enhancements. The AARGM block-I program enables the AGM-88E All Up Round, as well as the Common Munitions Built-in Test (BIT) Reprogramming Equipment (CMBRE) box 4 and 5 to achieve the performance and effectiveness objectives originally stated in the AARGM AS-5196-PMA242, Prime Item Development Specification for Anti-Radiation Guide Missile (AARGM) AGM-88E. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for information purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). ATK is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AGM-88E AARGM, and as such, is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge, experience and tooling to produce the requirements described herein, in order to satisfy the government's requirement. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the supplies anticipated needed herein is 541330.
