- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: ANASAZI HERITAGE CENTER, UPGRADE FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM Bureau of Land Management, Department of the Interior, Colorado State Office, Lakewood, Colorado has a requirement for the Anasazi Heritage Center, Upgrade Fire Protection System, located at the Anasazi Heritage Center, 27501 Highway 184, Dolores, Colorado 81323 within Montezuma County. The Work consists of the following:1. Remove and replace all existing "on-off" fire sprinklers.2. Remove all existing sectionalization valves and replace with pipe sections.3. Reconfigure fire water service, fire sprinkler riser, and fire department connection as shown on the drawings.4. Furnish and install double check valve assembly in fire water service to protect the domestic water supply from backflow.5. Furnish and install fire sprinklers and associated piping in the Lobby.6. Furnish and install fire sprinklers and associated piping in ceiling plenum spaces above the Admin Wing, Multi-Purpose Room Area, and Public Restroom Area.7. Furnish and install fire sprinklers and associated piping in other areas as shown on the drawings.8. Connect fire protection system flow and tamper switches to the existing fire alarm control panel and reprogram the existing fire alarm control panel as necessary.9. Provide all testing, calculations, submittals, demonstration and training, painting, sheetrock repair, ceiling tile replacement, cleaning, and protection of exhibits, walls, floors, etc. associated with the fire protection system upgrade Work. Project will be constructed under a single contract. NAICS code is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors); size standard is $14 million. Estimated period of performance is 120 calendar days. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $500,000. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR BID/ REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The intent of this sources sought notice is to identify potential offerors for this project. A determination by the government on how to compete this proposed action based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
