- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation RFP Cover Letter The primary objective of this contract is to provide training for NRC staff members in the efficient and effective review and evaluation of root cause investigations that were conducted by others (e.g., NRC Licensees) as well as the through documentation of such reviews and evaluations. The training shall be conducted using state-of-the-art, proven training methods to evaluate many types of commercial, light-water-reactor root cause analyses. The root cause investigations utilized in the training shall involve incidents or issues associated with commercial light-water-reactors and security thereof, including technical and human performance issues. The contractor shall furnish qualified personnel and services to develop training and presentation materials and present the training identified below. The contractor shall update and maintain training materials and presentations current.
