- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary, Atlanta, Georgia, intends to issue solicitation RFQP03011200004 for Quarterly Subsistence - Meat. This solicitation will be 100% restricted for small businesses. The delivery will be FOB destination. Delivery dates will be from January 3, 2011 through January 24, 2011. Deliveries will be made to the United States Penitentiary, 601 McDonough Blvd., S.E., Atlanta, GA 30315. Firm-fixed price contracts will be awarded by the Government. The Government reserves the right to make a formal single award or multiple awards. The Government will award to responsible vendors who submit quotes that conform to the solicitation and are considered to be the most advantageous to the Government; past performance and price will be considered. Prices will be rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 23, 2011 and will be posted to the General Service Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have accurate and up to date information about this solicitation. The anticipated deadline for receipt of quotes is December 8, 2011. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Government Purchase Card. Each potential vendor is required to complete representations and certifications via the Online Representation and Certification Applications (OCRA) at http://orca/bpn.gov. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations are included.
