- This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research and planning purposes. It should not be construed as a request for proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited. The purpose of this synopsis is to ascertain the availability of interested, qualified sources to provide community housing relocation and referral services to the Installation Management Command - Europe, USAG Baden-Wuerttemberg. Services shall primarily be provided within a 50 km radius of Heidelberg, Germany. The requirement includes maintaining a listing of adequate, affordable, nondiscriminatory housing units in the USAG BWs geographical area, providing briefings to eligible incoming military and civilian personnel, scheduling appointments, providing round-trip transportation and interpretation assistance during viewing appointments and move-in/move-out inspections between customer and landlord. It also includes related administrative services such as preparing and submitting required reports and maintenance of electronic and paper documents and files. The contemplated award term is for a base period of 12 months (may include a phase-in period) and two 12-month option periods. Contemplated contract start date is 1 Jan 2011. Interested parties should submit a brief summary (maximum 3 pages) describing their experience in providing similar services. Experience need not be limited to US Government agencies; similar experience might include managing off-campus student housing, corporate housing, or other housing on a long-term basis. Interested parties should submit summary via email to teresa.a.hillegas@eur.army.mil not later than 2:00 PM CET on 18 Nov 2011.
