- Woodland Job Corps center 3300 Fort Meade Road Laurel, Maryland 20724 Woodland Job Corps Center is having a walk-thur for Boiler repair on Tuesday November 22nd, 2011 at 10:00 am. Please submit your intension to attend the walk- thur to Lisa Woodall, Purchasing Agent at the email below woodall.lisa@jobcorps.org You must be present at the walk-thur in order to submit a bid. Below you will find the scope of work and hard copy will be provided to you at the time of the walk- thur Scope of Work Boiler Room Repairs table of contents 1. Proposal information 2. Project Description: Boiler room hurricane damage repairs 3. specific requirements 4. construction requirements Proposal Requirements Project: Boiler repair Owner: US Department of labor(DOL) Employment and Training Administration Center Operator: Adams and Associates, Inc. 3300 Fort Meade Road Laurel, Maryland 20724 Evaluation Criteria: Cost Schedule Adequacy of system proposed Financial strength of contractor to replace equipment if it does not meet specification Payment: The center will make payment within 30 days of completion Site Visit Date: 10/22/2011 at 10:00 am Scope of Project: Replace 5 water circulation pumps and motors with pumps of equal size and gpm and reinsulate pumps. Replace all boiler controls and gas valves on 2 boilers (#1 and#3) and 2 water heaters. Replace high limit cut out switchand check valve on air compressor. Replacement of parts to include but not limited to gas valves, pilot assemblies, burner controls, pilot solnoids, flow switches, low water cut outs, damaged or compromised wires and connections. All replacement parts to OEM or equal. Clean boiler and tubes. Prior to submitting final payment and upon acceptance of all replaced parts for heaters and boilers, the contractor must fire up boilers and water heaters and maintain proper settings for at least 24 hours to ensure proper operation. Specific Requirements: Warrantees: The contractor is to provide all manufactures written parts warrantees for the above statements at time of completion fo job and provide a one year parts and labor contractors warranty. Construction Requirements: center requlation: Contractor and his employees shall abide by all the center's rules and requlations. There shall be no fraternization between contractor personnel and Job Coprs Center students or personnel. The Contractor will be required to follow all Center safety and security requirements
