- The Nashville District US Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue solicitation W912P5-12-R-0001 for multiple award of fifteen (15) firm-fixed-price contracts to provide park attendants within the Nashville District. The solicitation is expected to be advertised on or about 2 December 2011 at the FedBizOpps website noted below. Campgrounds include Floating Mill, Long Branch and Ragland Bottoms Campgrounds on Center Hill Lake; Defeated Creek and Salt Lick Campgrounds on Cordell Hull Lake; Lillydale and Willow Grove Campgrounds on Dale Hollow Lake; Bumpus Mills, Canal, Eureka and Hurricane Creek Campgrounds on Lake Barkley; and Anderson Road Day Use Recreation Areas #1 & #2, and Cook Day Use Recreation Areas #1 & #2, on J. Percy Priest Lake. Center Hill Lake is located on the Caney Fork River 60 miles east of Nashville, Tennessee and 20 miles west of Cookeville, Tennessee in DeKalb and Putnam counties in Tennessee. Cordell Hull Lake is located on the Cumberland River in middle Tennessee about 60 miles east of Nashville in Smith and Jackson counties in Tennessee. Dale Hollow Lake is located on the Obey River, 100 miles east of Nashville, Tennessee and 30 miles north of Cookeville, Tennessee; Lillydale is in Clay County, Tennessee. Lake Barkley is located on the Cumberland River in West Kentucky and North Central Tennessee. The areas of work are located in Livingston and Lyon counties in Kentucky, and Stewart County, Tennessee. J. Percy Priest Lake is located on the Stones River in middle Tennessee about 10 miles east of downtown Nashville. The areas of work are located in Davidson County in Tennessee. Period of Performance will be one (1) base period and two (2) option years. The contractor is to furnish all necessary management, personnel, materials, supplies, parts, tools, equipment and vehicles, except items such as computers that will be supplied by the government, to perform the park attendant services. Offerors are strongly encouraged to visit and inspect the recreation areas before they submit a proposal in order to become familiar with the size and scope of the different areas and their required duties. Please check the solicitation for the due date for proposals. Depending on location, work is to begin between the last Friday in March and the first Friday in May 2012 with the option to renew for two additional one year periods. The government will award contracts resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offerors whose proposal is the best value to the Government. The value for any base-year contract at any location is not expected to exceed $25,000. This procurement is 100% Set Aside for Small Business. The NAICS code is 721211. Small Business Size is $7.0M.
