Description
Sources Sought - Antenna/Tower Services Notice of Sources Sought: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is seeking capability statements from Small Business Contractors to provide for the purchase, installation, repair and maintenance of various antenna and/or tower services within CONUS and its US Territories and Possessions. This is not a solicitation or announcement of a solicitation. This is a "Sources Sought" action only. The purpose of this "sources sought" is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources for this requirement. Description of work to be performed: The Government intends to issue multiple award, IDIQ, Firm-Fixed Price Contracts based on responses from the issuance of the solicitation. Travel costs associated with these contracts will be cost reimbursable, based on Federal Travel Regulations. Contract awards will be for a one year base period with 4, 12 month, option periods. Some of the anticipated antenna products for installation include: USC Signal Andrew Model 3002A Spira Cone antennas, USAP Model No 1001CA Reportable Log Periodic antennas, Datron Model ABB 1000 HF antennas & USAP 1942 RT antennas. Other types of antennas for future purchase and installation may include fan type antennas. Prospective contractors must be preferred manufacturer installers for the Reportable Log Periodic and Spira Cone antenna systems. The government may purchase various antennas/tower systems and provide these antenna systems to the contractors for installation. The applicable NAICS Codes is 334220. Information Sought: Contractors having the ability to provide these supplies and services shall provide clear and comprehensive information supporting their experience, expertise, & small business information/certification. Responses should not exceed 2 pages and should clearly identify whether the contractor is able to provide services under the anticipated contract action. Any questions may be submitted to Dan Carroll, Contracting Officer, at daniel.carroll1@dhs.gov. Responses are due by Tuesday, 3:00 PM Eastern Time on November 28th, 2011, and shall be sent by e-mail to the address indicated above. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to any contractual agreement. This is not a request for proposals. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses under this announcement nor otherwise pay for preparing any information sent or the Government's use of the information. Any proprietary information should be so marked.
