- Description
- Perform services for implementing Enterprise Information Services (EIS) in a cloud-like Platform as a Service (PaaS) sandbox environment for the USAF providing a delivery model for Information Technology (IT) services and infrastructure that is scalable. Microsoft SharePoint 2010, International Business Machines (IBM) FileNet P8 V5 and Case Management will be the initial applications installed in the environment. The environment will be scaled to support approximately 10,000 USAF personnel and will be hosted at the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL) at the Navy Rocket Center in West Virginia. In addition to set-up and hosting, Enterprise Information Services will require hardware/software maintenance, help desk support, and training. The initial applications selected for installation are identified as core services that all USAF personnel will use regardless of their area of responsibility. The goal of this environment is to provide a development and testing enviro! nment for EIS solutions prior to deploying in the EIS production environment which provides all USAF personnel with core EIS services enabling them to enhance the performance their duties.
