- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking to award two (2) contracts under one (1) Request For Proposal to provide closing agent services for the sale of HUD-owned single family (1-4 units) properties. One (1) contract will be for Northwestern Illinois for the counties: Boone, Carroll, DeKalb, Grundy, Jo Davies, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lee, Mchenery, Mercer, Ogle, Rock Island, Stephenson, Whiteside, and Winnebago. One (1) contract will be for Northeastern Illinois for the counties: Cook, Dupage, Lake, and Will. The anticipated contract award will be for one-year base year period and two one-year options each contract. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will list in detail all the specific tasks in the statement of work. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541191 (Title Abstract and Settlement Office) with a size standard of $7 Million. The Government intends to award two (2) contracts resulting from this RFP to the responsible offeror who will be determined to be Technically Acceptable based on their Technical proposal with the lowest evaluated price. The RFP will also identify all information such as the evaluation criteria that the Offeror must submit in order to be considered for award. Failure to submit all the information requested in the RFP may result in the proposal being eliminated from consideration for award. It is anticipated that the RFP will be posted to this site with an issue date on or 23 November. Any amendments to the RFP will be posted to this site.
