- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603 Streamlined Solicitation for Commercial Items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. BID SCHEDULE: Delivery 1 - Sodium Chloride - 500 tons Price Per Ton $__________ *Delivery 2 - Sodium Chloride - 500 tons Price Per Ton $__________ *second delivery will be scheduled as needed; but no later than March 31, 2012 Price Per Ton shall include delivery to: Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area, Route 209, Mile Marker 10, Salt Dome Facility, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328 Delivery Hours are 8:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. No deliveries Saturday, Sunday or Government Holidays. 500 Tons to be delivered initially - the remainder will be scheduled for delivery as needed. Delivery POC is Rich Degnan at 570-828-8001, X-1; please call prior to schedule. Product Description: Sodium Chloride will meet PennDot specifications listed in Publication 408, Section 722 for Type 1, Grade 1, Sodium Chloride IAW ASTM: D6332-99 When quoting please refer to Solicitation Number: E12PS20245. Award shall be made to the responsible vendor whose quote offers the lowest price. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. This action is being set aside for small business participation. Small Business Administration size standard for NAICS Code 424690 is 100 employees. Companies must have a valid Dunn and Bradstreet Number and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offers may be submitted on company letterhead or stationary and MUST include the following information:Company Name, Contact Information, Duns and Bradstreet Number, CAGE Code, unit price to include delivery, specifications per line item, and payment terms and discount offered for prompt payment, if applicable. Contractor must also complete the online Certs and Reps (ORCA), in leiu of submitting 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items and a list of three references to document past performance. Closing date and time for receipt of quote is November 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time.
