- NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) has a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a BlanketPurchase Agreement (BPA) for Composite Materials. This BPA will allow NASA LaRC to easilyacquire composite materials over the next 5 years which generally have short responsetimes to meet critical research project requirements at NASA LaRC. As specific requirements are needed, individual calls will be issued and the purchasedone via a Government Credit card referencing the BPA. Please complete the RFQ and Solicitation. The Draft BPA and Attachment 1 are linked aboveor may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. ] Also on-line RFQ - under Instruction read all of 04 Evaluation (Submittal Requirements). This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation,which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and awritten solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQsystem to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may beaccessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. The informationrequired by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing via e-mail no laterthan November 7, 2011. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for therelease of amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloadingtheir own copy of this notice, the on-line RFQ and amendments (if any). An ombudsman has been appointed - See NASA Specific Note 'B'.
