- Description
- The National Guard Bureau (NGB), Operational Contracting Office - Arlington, VA, intends to issue a firm fixed price, sole source award to LivingWorks Education USA, 440 Summerlea Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28311-1172 for Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) T4T 5-day training. The training is mandated by TRADOC regulation 350-6. The anticipated award date is October 28, 2011. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 611710 (Educational Support Services) and the size standard is $6M. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) soliciting from a single source authorized by FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization). This is not a solicitation and none will be issued for this requirement. All responsible sources capable of providing this training may submit a response. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested firms may identify their interest in writing to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time 28 October 2011 by e-mail only. Phone calls will not be accepted.
