- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make an award to a responsible quoter for the provision of Radiology Technician Services for the Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp in Miami, Florida. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the government. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option year are 576 sessions per year. A session is defined as an hour. The schedule will normally consist of six sessions twice a week and will not exceed 12 sessions per week. Performance period will be Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., to include a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 8, 2011, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621399, with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The date for receipt of quotations is on/about December 15, 2011; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This solicitation is set-aside for small businesses. All responsible small business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered.
