- Description
- This contract is for the exploratory drilling work at the Jerome School Mine Shaft High Priority project located at 1515 Sweet Street, Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan. The work required under this contract includes drilling and casing vertical and angled core holes in the vicinity of the mine shaft. Approximately four (4) core holes will be drilled at sites around the shaft collar. The drilling plan calls for one (1) vertical core followed by angled coring. The vertical core is to verify the geologic section and the remaining angled core holes are to penetrate the shaft. Work will consist of: mobilization and demobilization of the contractor's labor, equipment and materials; anchoring system and tether lines; core drilling; casing anchored and left in place; split spoon sampling; abandoned unsuitable holes; and site restoration. Estimated Price Range: $60,000 - $90,000 No bid guarantee or performance bond is required. A payment guarantee for 100% of the contract award value will be required. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition in 237990. The small business size standard is $33.5M. A PREBID CONFERENCE IS SCHEDULED FOR 10:00 AM ON NOVEMBER 2, 2011. PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ARE TO MEET IN THE PARKING LOT OF THE SCHOOL AT THE PROJECT SITE LOCATED AT 1515 SWEET STREET, SAGINAW, MI. Bids will be opened on November 22, 2011. An original hard copy of the completed and signed IFB along with the AML Contractor Information Form are due at the depository in 3 Parkway Center, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 on November 22, 2011 @ 1:00 pm. Electronic and/or faxed bids will not be accepted. Contractors doing business with the Government are required to have a DUNs number, register in the Central Contractor Registration at ccr.gov data base and complete on line representations and certifications at orca.bpn.gov. Award will not be made to a contractor who has not satisfied these requirements.
