Description
The Department has a requirement for Staff Augmentation Services (SAS) to support the Bureaus of Near Eastern Affairs and South and Central Asian Affairs, Consular Affairs, and Human Resources and the Office of Medical Services and other unassigned Bureaus and Offices. Personnel supporting this requirement may be required to travel to Department of State locations, including Iraq and Afghanistan. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released on or about November 14, 2011. The period of performance (POP) for this effort is one base year with four one-year options. The Department will award a single Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract to the offeror who presents the best value solution to the Government in accordance with the criteria in the RFP. The estimated value of this contract is 50-60M. The current incumbent is PRO-telligent, Inc. The acquisition is set aside 100% for Service Disabled-Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541611 with a size standard of $7.0M. The acquisition will be released under solicitation number: SAQMMA12R0020. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database ( www.ccr.gov ) prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the Central Contractor Registration Database will render you firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number.
