- ****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO Shane Jackson, Contracting Officer, via email shane.d.jackson@us.army.mil, or Fax 256-955-9237. No telephone requests will be accepted. NOUN: Safety and Arming D; PRON: D10B0237D1, NSN: 1336-01-541-2750, PN: 13540215, Quantity: 23 each applicable to the Multiple Launch Rocket Weapon System (M-EF). F.O.B. Origin with delivery to Chambersburg, PA, 17201-4153. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 23 each, 100 Days After Contract Award (DACA). The First Article Test Report is due 145 DACA. This item is restricted to L-3 Fuzing and Ordnance Systems, Inc. (CAGE: (66126), because the data needed to procure this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. This was inadvertently synopsized on 20 Oct 2011, under solicitation number W31P4Q-12-R-0016. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
