- The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Force Logistics Command, IBCT, C&P2 will be issuing a solicitation for the FY12 Drydocking and Repairs of the CGC MARIA BRAY (WLM 562) whose home moorage is located in Atlantic Beach, FL. The eventual contract will be performed at the contractor's certified drydock facility. This procurement will be a total small business set-side for all 336611 North America Industry Classification System code contractors. The period of performance will begin on 3/21/12 and complete 5/30/12. Only one firm fixed-price contract will be awarded for this procurement. Foreseeable costs will be included in the price evaluation of offers. This procurement is not geographically restricted. The proposed work items include but are not limited to: Hull Plating (Side Scan), Ultrasonic Testing Hull Plating, U/W Body, Inspect Appendages (U/W), Leak Test Appendages (U/W) - Internal, Preserve Voids (Non-Accessible), Leak Test Voids (Non-Accessible), Preserve Internal Surfaces Tanks (Potable Water), Clean and Inspect SW Heat Exchangers, Clean, Inspect and Hydro Fathometer Transducer, Renew Sea Strainers - Duplex (All Sizes), Overhaul Sea Bay, Preserve 100% Thruster Unit (General), Overhaul Crossdeck Winches, Overhaul Mechanical Chain Stoppers, Overhaul Anchor Windlass, Level 3 Overhaul Anchor Chain (s) and Ground Tackle, Inspect and Repair Grey Water Holding Tanks, Clean and Inspect Sewage Holding Tanks, Clean and Inspect Grey Water Piping, Clean and Flush Sewage Piping, Clean and Flush Chain Locker, Preserve 100% Tanks (Potable Water), Preserve " 100% " Decks - Exterior( Buoy ), Preserve U/W Body, Preserve "100%" Cathodic Protection / Zincs, Renew Drydocking Temporary Services, Provide Propulsion Shaft Bulkhead Seals, Upgrade Deck Covering ( Electrical Matting ), Renew Deck Covering (Interior Wet/Dry), Renew Sea Valves and Waster Pieces, Overhaul or Renew Hydraulic Chain Stoppers, Overhaul Z - Drive Input Drive Shaft, Alignment Check Z - Drive Input Drive Shaft, Thrust Bearing Renewal ASW Piping System, Clean and Inspect Hull and Structural Plating - 10 Hull and Structural Plating - 12 Hull and Structural Plating - 15 Hull and Structural Plating - 20 Anchor (s), Preserve Tanks (Ballast), Preserve " 100% " Tanks ( Grey Water Holding ), Preserve " 100% " Tanks ( Sewage Holding ), Preserve " 100% " Hull Plating ( Buoy Port Areas ), Preserve Temporary Messing and Berthing, Provide Buoy Crane, Inspect and Repair Bilges (Machinery Space) - Engine Room, Preserve XO Stateroom, Modify SW Heat Exchangers, Clean, Inspect and Hydro Bilges (Cargo Hold) Preserve Sea Bay, Inspect Bow Thruster Motor, Clean & Inspect A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued no earlier than 11/7/11.
