- Description
- AFFTC/PKOB is seeking potential sources capable of providing exhaust cleaning services (hoods and ducts) for Edwards AFB, CA. The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, tools, vehicles, supplies, materials, equipment, and labor necessary to provide monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual exhaust cleaning services in commercial cooking facilities in accordance with federal, state, local environmental laws and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, removing filters, cleaning entire interior of hoods, removing all residues frm the interior and exterior surfaces of ducts, removing all residues from the interior and exterior of the roof-mounted fans and housing, cleaning all exhaust screens if in place, and removing grease from off roof in immediate/peripheral area of the exhaust, and chemically treat roof to prevent absorption of the grease build up if needed. Flammable solvents for cleaning are not permitted. All work shall comply with government and commercial standards, whichever is more stringent. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this effort is 561790. Please indicate your firms small business status. Contract award is estimated to take place January 2012. This synopsis constitutes one form of early industry involvement and the Government requests industry recommendations, opinions, and feedback. This synopsis is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for bids/proposals. Responses will assist the Government in determining whether to set-aside/restrict competition in some way or solicit offers from all responsible sources. All interested parties who believe that they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing the complete information describing their capability and qualifications to provide the aforementioned support services. Please include your company name, point of contact, address, telephone number, Duns & Bradstreet Unique Numbering System (DUNS) number, Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this announcement. Potential offerors must be registered in CCR to be eligible for contract award or payment from any Department of Defense activity.
