- Description
- In accordance with the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, the Naval Air Systems Command intends to award The Boeing Company a sole source, cost plus fixed fee delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0001 for the integration of an Extended Launch Aft Lug Kit into the Turkish Air Force SLAM-ER weapon system. The anticipated period of performance is 16 months. Boeing is the sole designer, developer, integrator, and manufacturer of the Extended Launch Aft Lug Kit and the SLAM-ER weapon system. They are the only company with the requisite personnel, facilities, and technical knowledge to satisfy the Government's requirement within the required time line. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.) IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES: There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, to make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of an order for the efforts mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. See Numbered Note 22.
