Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta GA contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Walton Monroe Investments LLC, PO Box 202, High Shoals GA 30645, for electric and cable service for the Athens Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). The VA Medical Center currently has a leasing contract with Walton Monroe Investments for the lease of a building situated in Athens GA. The VA Medical Center will reimburse Walton Monroe for all electric and cable services. The period of performance will be November 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238210 with a standard size of $14.0 Million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 10 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature detailing how their product/services meet VA requirements to the contract specialist or by fax at 478-274-5588. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
