- The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Jacksonville District, is soliciting proposals for the purchase of fire suppression services at a variety of Government facilities for the South Florida Area Office. The NAICS code will be 541350 - Building Inspection Services, size standard is 500 Employees. Offers will be due on or about 26 October 2011. The title of this solicitation will be Fire Suppression Services. Point of contact: Charles Connelly, Contract Specialist, telephone number 904-232-1068, email Charles.Connelly@usace.army.mil. Mailing address is 701 San Marco Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32207-8175. This acquisition will be a small business set aside. The Contractor shall services accordance with the solicitation and amendments. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible with providing you with notification of any changes to this solicitation. In addition, in order to generate a Plan Holders List, all interested bidders must also REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR which is also located on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Registration Requirements: DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR), applies to this procurement. You must be registered in the CCR in order to be eligible to receive an award from this solicitation. Information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense CCR database prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
