Sir Description: The Federal Aviation Administration Western-Pacific Region; Hereby announces its intention to solicit a Request for Offers (RFO) to provide Vegetation Control Services at Northern California Tracon (NCT), Mather, CA. This requirement is totally set- aside for Small Business firms. Awards resulting from the (RFO) will be based on lowest priced, technically acceptable offer to the FAA giving consideration to: (1) Total cost to the FAA, and (2) Offeror's past performance and experience with the same or similar work. The successful offeror shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, tools, and supervision necessary in the performance of Vegetation Control Services at Northern California Tracon (NCT). The solicitation will request pricing for the base period and (4) option years. Contractors must have active registration with Central Contracting Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov before the contract award can be made. Solicitation will only be issued to Vendors that reply to the announcement by the closing date. Also all vendors that reply to the announcement must provide Company Name, Contact Person, Company Address, Phone Number, Fax Number, and E-mail Address when requesting a SIR. Incomplete request will not be accepted. T3.6.1 - Small Business Development ProgramSmall Business Development 5: Bonding Assistance and the DOT Lending Program (Revised 4/2009) a. Firms seeking bonding assistance may refer to www.nasbp.org, which is the website supporting the National Association of Bond Producers (NASP). Users may click the "Find a Producer" link found in the upper right corner of the website, where they then can select the state in which the firm is seeking to qualify for bonding.b. To promote the financial assistance programs available from the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU, S-40), procurement teams should add the following information in each public announcement of a procurement: "This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
