- AWARD OF SOLICITIATION: VA-257-IB-11-0158 The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHSC) Contracting Office (90C) has awarded a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract, VA257-C-0756, in the amount of $1,713,964.00; to KEVCON, Inc., 246 E Grand Ave, Escondido, CA 92025-2803, Phone No. 760-432-0307. Project work is necessary to correct defective/deteriorated steam and steam condensate piping systems, heat exchanges, and other steam specialties significantly reducing the steam and condensate leaks throughout the system; convert condensate return system to pumped/ gravity return in lieu of vacuum return; and insulate steam and steam condensate piping to reduce standby losses in active steam piping. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including but not limited to; provide all necessary supervision, labor, equipment, materials for select demolition, for replacement of portions of the steam and condensate lines serving the Waco VAMC, as well as replacement of some building steam equipment as required by the specifications and drawings. Project is for Correct Steam Condensate, Project No. 674A4-09-220, located at the VA Medical Center, 4800 Memorial Drive, Waco, Texas 76799. Project consist of completely prepare site for building operations, including select demolition, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the replacement of portions of the steam and condensate lines serving the Waco VAMC, as well as replacement of some building steam equipment as required by drawings and specifications. **NOTE: For Subcontracting opportunities, please contact the Prime Contractor, Kevcon, Inc., directly at 760-432-0307
