- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) will be hosting a SMALL BUSINESS VENDOR OUTREACH SESSION (VOS). The purpose of the VOS is to bring together small business and match their capabilities with requirements to support the operation of BEP's Western Currency Facility (WCF). Vendors will have the opportunity to meet program officials and contracting staff form the WFC. The BEP uses small businesses for many of the requirements needed to keep our facilities running on a daily basis. The following services and/or supplies are a few examples of services provided by small businesses - 1. Information Technology - PC Support, IT Security Support, Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), CISCO, Oracle Support, Software maintenance and licensing agreements and additional IT support 2. Services - Janitorial, Grounds Keeping, Training (i.e. HR, Windows 7, Sexual Harassment), Health Unit staffing, Waste Water Management, Secured Delivery Services and additional services 3. Equipment - Forklifts, Presses, Hand Trucks (powered, manual) and additional equipment 4. Materials - Press (Spare Parts), Ink, Toner, Paper and additional materials 5. Inventory - Cleaning Solutions, Lab Coats, Safety Shoes/Glasses and additional inventory 6. A&E Construction - Room renovations, lighting upgrades, Equipment replacements and additional projects. WHERE: The Radisson, 2540 Meacham Boulevard, Fort Worth, TX 76106 DATE: Monday November 14th & Tuesday November 15, 2011 TIMES: Monday 8:30am - 4:00pm and Tuesday 8:30am - 12 noon. NEW REGISTRATION OPEN DATE: Registration opens at 8:00am, Eastern Standard time, Monday, September 12, 2011 and closes at 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday, October 31, 2011. Registrations must be sent to YVETTE.ANDERSON@BEP.GOV. The Email must include the company name, full name of the person(s) planning on attending the Outreach Session, contact information for attendee (i.e. company phone numbers and company email address). The company DUNS & CAGE numbers, your companies GSA number (if applicable), your companies business classification (i.e. Small Business, Woman-Owned (WOSB), Small Disadvantage Business (SDV), Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB), HUBZone), your companies NAICS code(s). Socio-economic status will be confirmed before confirmation of your registration. REGISTRATIONS ARE ACCEPETED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. ONLY 2 PERSONS PER COMPANY WILL BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER. Please ensure that your firm is registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) and ensure that your Dynamic Small Business Search profile is updated and complete.
