- The purpose of this amendment is to change the date of solicitation release and the RFP number. "The date of the solicitation release is being changed FROM: On or about October 14, 2011; TO: October 24, 2011. "The RFP number is changing FROM: VA-798-11-RP-0239; TO: VA0798-12-R-0011. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, will be issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the procurement of Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) services for the Chicago Regional Office. The VA is procuring VR&E services to enable entitled Veterans with service-connected disabilities to achieve maximum independence in daily living, to become employable, and to obtain and maintain suitable employment to maximum extent feasible. The solicitation shall require the contractor to provide supplementary and complementary VR&E services in the following service groups: Initial Assessment, Case Management Services, Employment Services, Educational and Vocational Counseling, and Discrete Services. The RFP shall result in one Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) Contract for the Chicago Regional Office with one twelve month period of performance and provisions for four twelve month option periods. A copy of the RFP will be available on the FedBizOps website (http://www.FedBizOps.com) on or about October 24, 2011. The RFP number will be VA0798-12-R-0011. This acquisition will be competed using full and open competition procedures. All responsible offerors are encouraged to participate.
