- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE CLASSIFICATION CODE: 99 SUBJECT: Buxco Software SOLICITATION NUMBER: W81XWH-12-T-0014 RESPONSE DATE: November 1, 2011 CONTACT POINTS: Kimberly Hannan, Purchasing Agent, 301-619-3490 DESCRIPTION: The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement for the following: The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Disease has a request for purchase of FinePointe Software suite. This software/upgrade includes, test group management, data acquisition, signal analysis, data analysis, and statistical reporting. The software is used to organize laboratory animals into test groups and analysis the data on them. This is for respiratory data. The software must provide the capabilities for converting the collected data into reports by the test groups. This is to support the continuing research efforts for respiratory research currently being conducted. This is a request for proposal as Brand name of equal and must meet the needs specified in the soliciation under minimum essential criteria. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 and is set aside 100% for small business. All interested parties can view, download and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments on or about October 17, 2011 at the following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR Registration can be completed by going to the following website: www.ccr.gov Proposals will be evaluated on a Commercial Firm Fixed Prices and and any resulting contract will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Award. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments and all questions and answers relating to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ or https://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about, October 17, 2011 and will only be available until November 1, 2011. Specifications of the requirement are provided in solicitation: W81XWH-12-T-0012. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. All questions should be addressed in writing to Kimberly Hannan, Purchasing Agent at kimberly.hannan@us.army.mil. Telephone requests will not be honored and bidder lists will not be maintained. All Responses must be received by 12:00 pm eastern standard time, 1 November 2011. No extensions will be granted.
