- The St Louis Job Corps is requesting quotes for pest control services for the 4333 Goodfellow campus and the 3860 Lindell campus. The quoted prices shall be for 2 year base and 3 one year options. The Center is seeking a vendor to provide pest control services for the buildings located at the 4333 Goodfellow campus and one building at 3860 Lindell campus. The vendor is to provide all labor, material, equipment, and certifications necessary to accomplish pest control and eradication in and around the Center. Contractor shall employ integrated pest management strategies. Control shall not be limited to the application of pesticides but shall include a program of placing physical barriers, traps, etc. to control pests. At all times the safety of the students and staff, property, and non-target species shall be considered a top priority. Contractor shall provide training to the maintenance and security staff designees on procedures and product information such as MSDS that will be used on Center. Contractor shall employ the maximum use of approved EPA approved pesticides, comply with all Federal, State, and local ordinances/laws, and strictly adhere to label directions. Pests to be controlled within the scope of these specifications are but not limited to: cockroaches, ants, flies, bedbugs, fleas, crickets, silverfish, ground beetles, crickets, spiders, mites, moths, wasps, hornets, millipedes, centipedes, rats, mice, squirrels, raccoons, and opossums. Contractor will work with Center designee for a treatment schedule for Center buildings. The entire Center must be covered each week. All treatments are to be scheduled during normal work hours 8:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday. Special treatments may be required due to certain infestations or when students are on holiday breaks. These treatments will be coordinated with the Supervisor of Maintenance and or Directors on an as needed basis. Contractor will leave a copy of a signed work order to a Center designee after finishing work for a scheduled day. Pricing for proposed quotes shall be no higher than what would be quoted to "best" commercial customers and/or to agencies of the United States. Quotes shall fully disclose any fuel surcharges, disposal fees, taxes, or any other charges, if any. Vendors will include copies of insurance, experience, employee training, current customer list, and any applicable licenses or permits. The St Louis Job Corps Center reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. Lowest pricing or overall bid does not constitute a bid award. The Center will be the sole judge of which offer is selected for approval. Any agreements may be terminated with respect to the remaining term of the agreement, at any given time by either party upon a written notice to the other effective thirty (30) days after acknowledged receipt of said notice. This service is subject to the provisions of the Service Contract Act where contractors and all subcontractors must comply with the current Department of Labor Area Wage Determination. Quotes must be received in the Purchasing Department, St Louis Job Corps, 4333 Goodfellow Blvd, St. Louis MO 63120 by November 9, 2011 at which time they will be reviewed. Quotes sent by email are acceptable. Anticipated start date is approximately December 1, 2011. Additional information may be obtained by contacting the St. Louis Job Corps Center between the hours of 8:00 am through 4:00 pm CST, Monday through Friday.
